My team definitely has not lived up to my preseason hype going a disappointing 2-3 so this column will no longer be mainly about my team but about fantasy football in general.

Waiver Wire for Week 6:

Running Back: Charcandrick West (Chiefs Running Back) With Jamaal Charles out for the season with a torn ACL, picking up the Chiefs backup running back should get you a respectful amount of points for the remainder of the season.

Wide Receiver: Allen Hurns (Jacksonville Wide Receiver) Hurns is a solid wide receiver who has been performing all year long. With only being owned in 50 percent of leagues, picking him up would be a good plan. He has at least 60 yards in each of his five games this season and just posted a 17 point fantasy effort in Week 5.

Tight End: Gary Barnidge (Cleveland Tight End) Barnidge presented the highlight of the weekend on an amazing, between the legs touchdown catch, and he’s also emerged as a steady tight end option. He has three straight games with at least 13 fantasy points. He’s a reliable starter right away.

Quarterback: Michael Vick (Pittsburgh Quarterback) Michael Vick is a solid short term starter while Ben Roethlisberger is out. He had a spectacular game-tying 72 yard touchdown pass to Markus Wheaton to tie the game. You can also rely on Mike’s ability to get you points through his legs. With weapons like Antonio Brown, Martavis Bryant, and Le’veon Bell it’s hard to have a bad week.

Even though my team has not done that well this year I hope that your team will be successful this season.
