Here is my waiver wire advice for Week 7 as “The Hayne Plane” lost by one because the Eagle’s defense decided to play extraordinarily well.

Running Back: James Starks (Green Bay)

When people think of dominant running backs in Green Bay, Eddie Lacy comes to mind. This past week, however, James Starks totaled 24 fantasy points while Eddie Lacy was completely healthy. The Packers will probably use a running back by committee system so Starks will not completely pass Lacy as the starter in Green Bay. Starks is a solid pickup option and is only owned in 22% of leagues.

Wide Receiver: Brandon LaFell (New England)

Although LaFell has not gotten any snaps in a game this year with his injury, he is active and available to play for the first time this Sunday. He may not be the top target with Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman in the game, but any skilled player with Tom Brady throwing to him has a chance for a big day.

Tight End: Benjamin Watson (New Orleans)

New Orleans had a tight end crisis when they traded superstar Jimmy Graham to the Seahawks, but that problem has been solved with the emergence of veteran, Benjamin Watson. He totaled 18 fantasy points last week, and with him only being owned in 4% of leagues, he deserves strong consideration as a pickup option for Week 6.

Quarterback: Colin Kaepernick (San Francisco)

Kaepernick is quietly a top 15 quarterback in scoring so far this season, though it’s been a bit of a yo-yo experience. He has three 20 plus-point efforts and then just 23 total points in his other three games, so be careful if you are going to use him as a full time starter.
