“Bang bang Niner gang” is the correct way of greeting people this Monday morning, as the San Francisco 49ers demolish the Chicago Bears. With extremely low expectations for the injury-riddled Niners team, the team steamrolled through the Bears, keeping Chicago’s first overall pick, Caleb Williams to a mere 23 passing yards in the first half, as well as having George Kittle go off for over a hundred receiving yards. 49er’s rookie fourth string running back, Isaac Guerendo had his first career start and showed up big time with many doubters criticizing the team’s run game in the past few games. The game ended 38-13 in the Niner’s favor, with impressive performances from Guerendo, Jennings, and Kittle, and extremely disappointing performance from Deebo Samuel (slight biased due to Deebo being on my fantasy team). With many injuries still plaguing the team, the Niners look towards Thursday Night Football for their next game against the LA Rams. Niner fans have been looking forward to this game for some time now, as All-Pro linebacker Dre Greenlaw is set to return after a brutal and heartbreaking ACL tear during the Superbowl last year. The Rams come off an extremely impressive performance against the Buffalo Bills, just edging them out 44-42. The Rams offense looks unstoppable and will test out our defense. This will be a divisional game, with extremely high playoff implications. A loss to the Rams guarantees a no-playoff year for the 49ers this year. Hopefully SF prevails, and I have something good to write about for next week!
