Formula One is coming to San Francisco. Sort of. On Saturday, Feb. 21, Red Bull is hosting a Red Bull Showrun presented by Ford in San Francisco. The event will highlight real F1 show cars and professional drivers performing on Marina Boulevard. It is a free, one-day public event. A showrun is a blend of motorsport and public engagement, with the course designed to showcase the unique capabilities of the Red Bull F1 vehicles. Different from a typical F1 race, this event is focused on audience engagement. The organizers want the crowd to be part of the experience. So get there early because you can expect interactive zones, merchandise booths and opportunities for F1 fans to get up close to the Red Bull cars and drivers. Live demonstrations will take place between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., with the event opening at 10 a.m. The event is also an opportunity for Red Bull to showcase its cutting-edge technology and innovation. All the while, you can see some of the most talented drivers in the world in action. Bound to be a signature event, set against the Golden Gate Bridge, the showrun will be a spectacle in the heart of San Francisco not to be missed.
