Convent & Stuart Hall are excited to introduce their new athletic trainers, Kailey Chan and Ian Morales, who bring expertise and enthusiasm to the school’s sports programs. Both are experienced trainers; we are lucky to have added them to the team.
“The new trainers are a welcome addition to the staff. With experienced hands, they can make aches and pains go away in a heartbeat!,” says Sophomore Nicholas Thompson.
Kailey is a certified athletic trainer with several years of experience in high school and college background. He attended Marquette University with a degree in Exercise Physiology, and a master of Athletic Training Program. His background in sports medicine makes him an excellent resource for injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement. Kailey aims to educate students on maintaining physical health and longevity in their sports careers. Kailey is a great person to ask any questions about your injury or any help in general.
Ian is also a certified athletic trainer, with 9 years of experience managing athletic programs in high school, college, semi-pro, and even pro! His specialties include strength and conditioning, recovery strategies, and injury management. Ian is dedicated to creating individualized plans for athletes, focusing on helping each athlete reach their own goal.
“It’s really fun to hear the experiences that the trainers have gone to. I remember Ian telling a couple of the injured football players about his NFL experience and the fun memories he had,” says Sophomore Andrew Kim.
His approachable demeanor and focus on helping kids accomplish their goals make him a great addition
Together, Kailey and Ian are improving the already great athletic department’s commitment to student well-being. While all the trainers switch campuses depending on sports and schedules, all 3 of the athletic trainers are here for your needs. Their collaborative approach allows them to provide great care, ensuring that each athlete receives attention for their specific needs. The addition of Kailey and Ian looks to benefit our sports programs as their care and expertise will benefit our program tremendously.
