Things you can do to help protect yourself
- Avoid close contact with people who appear sick.
- Avoid touching commonly used surfaces such as tables and doorknobs as much as you can, and disinfect them frequently.
- Always cover your cough or sneeze, using a tissue if possible.
- Avoid touching face, eyes or mouth.
- Wash hands often with soap and water, especially after using the bathroom, coughing or sneezing.
- If soap and water are not available, use hand sanitizer.
- Stay home if you are sick.
Ways to Boost Your Immune System
- Get plenty of sleep.
- Be physically active.
- Drink plenty of fluids.
- Eat nutritious foods.
